Nothing leaves the bench until it shoots like new. Here is what every camera goes through before it reaches the shop.

Teardown and deep clean
Every body is opened, old foam is removed, the mirror box and film chamber are cleaned and battery contacts are deoxidised.

Mechanics service
Shutter mechanisms are cleaned and adjusted, film advance and rewind are checked, and viewfinder optics are cleaned.

The known weak points
New light seals and mirror foam on every body, cleaned shutter blades, lubricated focus helicoids and fresh batteries where a meter needs one.
- 04
Shutter and meter calibration
Every shutter speed is measured on an electronic tester and the light meter is compared against a calibrated reference.
- 05
Test roll and packing
A test roll is shot and developed, then the camera is packed with caps, strap, service report and warranty card.
Grades we use
Grade A+ — near-mint body, no yellowing, no marks.
Grade A — light handling marks only, perfect function.
Collector — original box or rare revision, documented with photos.
